Highly recommended tour!Verified Not what I expected We were picked up 20 mins late from our resortIn his personal mini van. The other couple was picked up a hour late since they were supposed to get picked up first. . Not a lot of explaining going on. I feel like it was just a drop off at different beaches to take a picture and tourist shop. The tequila, taco,honey,chocolate tasting is extra. Costs $17 a person. There is no free lunch. You get dropped off at a resort and have to pay for that as well. Also, We were never offered water.Verified Worth the trip This was an amazing experience. The first half of the trip was snorkelling. The main guide was excellent and dove down to show us at hand the different fish. The second half of the trip was where we could paddleboard or kayak, enjoyed by all. The main leader/diver was engaging and friendly and knowledgeable. The team as a whole were very niceVerified Cenotes experience - guide okay but tour company disappointed. Excursion started poorly. Email said start time was 9:50 meeting outside Hooters. No one was there. We called at 10:00 and were told start time was at 9:00. This was not the start time that was in the multiple emails that I received “Please meet us at Hooters @9:50 am LOCAL TIME so you meet youri guide and get started with your tour.” The promo for tour indicated a cultural experience with honey, chocolate and tequila tasting which turned out to be a trip to a local cantina with a pseudo 5 minute dance and then tastings with emphasis on selling. I expected to hear about the cultural history of the area during the tour.Our guide, Hans, was personable but it felt like we had to ask him a lot of questions to get information. Based on the advertisement thought we would be taken to culturally significant sites but were asked what we wanted to see. Hans did drive us to the Cenotes and around the bottom half of the isle which was enjoyable.We liked Hans however I don’t think that the company conveyed to him what the tour was supposed to be. We expected an itinerary (based on the advertisement for this excursion) he didn’t have one and kept asking us what we wanted to do.Based on other cultural excursions we have experienced, the value wasn’t worth the cost.Disappointing, misleading, only ok.Verified Ocho park nice that's all You ripped us off. You should give us credit back at least half.ClintschmidtVerified This is are favorite place to rent from! We got a brand new jeep and drove around the island. Ate at some local spots on the back side and enjoyed the beach. This is the best way to see the island and for the price you can’t beat it. Just make sure you bring a aux cord for your phone to have radio in the jeep no blue tooth.Verified Great Time in the rain Even with the rain the staff pushed on and we had an amazing time. Would love to go back and do it again, and I hope it rains. The history we learned at the stops and what the guides taught us about their culture was awesome. Thanks again, and we will see you next trip.Verified Cozumel Day with Claudio Our guide Claudio made the whole day awesome for us! We honestly did not know what to expect but we felt safe and well cared for with him! It started when he “found” us at the start of the day…yelling out my name so we could find him! Then he made sure that we were well hydrated, had some snacks and he took us to a shopping spot and of course we bought something beautiful that we didn’t need but I am glad we did! Then it was off to the boat and snorkeling excursion with Luis and Thomas-what an awesome experience and they made sure we were all safe from the start to the end! After that, we made new family members with Lee and Sally who taught us about the Jalisco tequila and local agave /honey ….we sampled and were sold! After our tequila sampling we headed out to see some of Claudio’s favorite island spots and get some lunch…beautiful views indeed!!! Not only did Claudio show us the most beautiful parts of his island, he also taught us a great deal about the culture, the island specialties, and we met amazing people along the way!!! I think that he deserves an upgrade on his buggy though! He was prepared with a radio (as the buggy’s was out of service)! He is a great guide and did a wonderful job! It was my husband’s birthday and he told everyone we met so they could celebrate with him!! He was also helpful when he saw a stranded tourist who needed help —-he called for help so they could get taken care of!! Going above and beyond!!! I would recommend Claudio as a 10/10!!! He was extremely knowledgeable and kind to allow us the options. I would highly recommend him and you will have a wonderful day!Verified Bait and switch @ Otoch Mayan Tequila tastintg Absolute rip off! The tequila tasting bait then switches the expensive tequila. The cars you drive in are in poor condition, no spares. We rode miles on a flat tire until we could find a compressor. STAY AWAY!
